Baptism ( 7 Years and Older)

  The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (U.S. edition, 1988) reminds us: "The people of God, as represented by the local church, should understand...that the initiation of adults is the responsibility of all the baptized." 
   
  The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which adults and children age 7 and above interested in becoming Catholic enter the Church, complete  their initiation with both the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist are invited Contact the Faith Formation Office at 281-479-8832.
  
 Un-Baptized Children and Youth: 

If your child/youth is between the ages of 7 and 17, he/she will begin an RCIA (adapted for children) preparation process. At the end of this time, he/she will receive the three sacraments of initiation: Baptism, First Eucharist and Confirmation. Parents of un-baptized children must register their child in Formation classes.
