The imagery in this Sundays Gospel is simple and ancient. Jesus calls himself the ‘gate” he watches over his sheep and his sheep recognizes his voice. We are called to recall that in this Easter season that Jesus is the gate through which we are saved. Jesus is the means by which we enter the sheepfold, paradise, heaven itself.

There are two studies on FORMED.org for Easter, that I am challenging everyone to be a part of The first is The Search. What is this journey in between the event we call “birth” and the one we call “death”? Is the journey taking you somewhere, or are you leading yourself to some kind of destination – a destination that could extend beyond your last breath? What do you want from your life during the in between? The questions are there. And, the answers are too.
The second study is called:Divine Mercy with Fr. Michael Gaitley. Renowned speaker and author Fr. Michael Gaitley tells the dramatic history of God's love and mercy as interwoven through the transformative message of St. Faustina, the miraculous appearance of Mary at Fatima, the witness of Maximilian Kolbe, and the world-changing papacy of Pope St. John Paul II. Featuring the brilliant cinematic artistry of the Augustine Institute's film studio, the vast panorama of God's work of mercy in the world unfolds as a story to be experienced. The next offering is: Our parish Password to FORMED.org is 77GVZ3.
