I want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate the Mass today. Eventhough we have limited facilities, I want to thank the parish faithful who wanted to see the progress that has been made in restoring the Church facilities.
We have a long way to go.
I need to remind everyone, Due to all the tornado damgage, the parish offices have been completely destroyed. We currently do not have a phone systems, computer system, nor any systems to support a parish office at this time.
We are working quickly to reestablish a parish office in order to continue the business of the St. Hyacinth. We ask for your patience as we move reestablish space, computers , internet and phone systems.
In the meantime, all parish activities have been postponed and we will update everyone as to when activities will resume. There has just been too much damage to the facilities to open any parish activities now.
I asking everyone not to come to the Church complex in the next week. The recovery and restortation phase of the church complex is an ongoing project with heavy machinery and recovery personnel all around.I don't want anyone to get hurt.
Please be on the look out for regular parish updates in the days to come.
Please continue to pray for the St. Hyacinth and the community of Deer Park.
