Parish Update 3/1/23 

Brothers and Sisters in Christ.  

First, this weekend, we will have the Saturday (March 4th  ) 5:00 Mass with Confessions at 3:00 pm.  For Sunday, (March 5th  ) there will be the 8:00 and 10:00 am Mass. See you at one of the Masses this weekend.  

Due to the ongoing recovery, construction, and lack of infrastructure on the complex, we will need to continue to limit the activities on campus.    

Please remember we still do not have phones, computers, or systems, so I ask for patience as we move to restoration. If you need to contact someone at the parish, please use email. Contact information is on the website at Sthyacinthorg.  

Next, the Knights of Columbus will have their first fish fry on March 10. Members of the Knights of Columbus will pass our fish fry information at this weekend's Mass. 

St. Vincent De Paul ministry has set up their food bank collection site at the First Methodist of Deer Park facilities. SVDP will be accepting food donations at Community Food bank at First Methodist on Tuesday and Thursdays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.   

Furthermore, St. Vincent De Paul ministry is currently working out of the First Baptist Church of Deer Park on 8th Street. Deer Park community members in need can be seen by appointment only on Monday or Wednesday.  To schedule an appointment please call 346-499-1563. 

Next, please pay special attention to parish updates on our Facebook, Flock Notes and the parish website, Sthyacinth.org for information regarding moving forward with parish activities regarding Faith Formation and Liturgy.  

Please continue to pray for the St. Hyacinth Staff who have continually working diligently to make sure that the work of the St. Hyacinth continues even during this trying time without systems or infrastructure.
