In the Trinity, we experience God pouring out his love in us all. The dynamics between, Father, Son and Holy Spirit represents the perfect union of love and that love flows to us from this union. God desires a wholehearted relationship with us that requires our active participation. Since the trinity is active in our lives, we are required to respond to this by being active in the word.
Next, mark your calendar for the August 20-21, 2022, for the celebration of the 57th anniversary of our parish. Planning has already begun for the celebration of our parish with, prayer, food, fun and prizes. We will have further details as the weeks go by on how we can make the celebrations of our parish a wonderful event for the church and community.
For our parish anniversary, I would like for the parish to begin a collection for a Statue of St. Hyacinth. We should have a representation of our patron saint in our Church and we are the only Catholic Church named after St Hyacinth in the United States that does not have a statue of our patron saint. A five-foot custom-made linden wood and painted statue of St Hyacinth will cost approximately $18K. (The handmade statue would have St. Hyacinth holding a monstrance and a little statue of a Madonna with Child). We have placed a special donation box is in the Narthex with a picture of the statue or you can give online at https://sthyacinth.org/statue-of-st-hyacinth . Thank you for your support in precuring a statue for our Church.
Preparation and registration has begun for the Archdiocesan Youth Conference (AYC) which gathers participants from all over the local Church.
