Receiving the Eucharist draws us closer together as a community of faith. The Body and Blood of Christ nourish us for our ultimate call to holiness. While we continue to learn from the Bread of Life discourse, we are reminded that Jesus is the bread of life that came down from heaven.
Today we celebrate our parish’s 59th anniversary. For our parish 59th anniversary Sunday’s celebrations which will begin after the noon mass we will have food fun and prizes with the silent auction. Please continue to pray for the people of our community.
Many in our community continue to need food to feed their families. Our St. Hyacinth St. Vincent De Paul Society is asking for your help to feed our neighbors in need by donating to our ministry gift cards in the amount of $25 from any of our local grocery stores: Food Town, Joe V’s, Aldi, Kroger, HEB, or Walmart. Place your donated cards in the collection basket during any weekend Mass. Thank you for your generosity.
Finally, as our students, teachers and supporting education staff prepare for another year of School, we want to give a special blessing to all those returning to the education environment this weekend. May God bless you all, and we wish you all the best.
