John the Baptist is presented in our Gospel readings to rouse us to the demands of our discipleship. As we continue into the Advent season, John the Baptist reminds us that we are to keep our eyes open to the truth that God will interrupt our lives and inconvenience us to get His point across in our lives. We are called to produce good fruit in our lives.
To celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception there will be two special Masses this Thursday December 8th at 8:00 am and 7:00 pm. Come and join us in the celebration of the mother of the Church.
On the solemnity of the Immaculate conception of the blessed Virgin mary, we honor Mary, mother of Christ and mother of the Church who was born without the stains of sin. We celebrate the life of blessed Mary who is the example of the path that we must take in order to make sure that we manifest the work of salvation the life of the community. We trust in her intercession. Now that the Holiday season is in full swing and there are several opportunities for our parish community to witness the love of Christ to those in need this season. The Angel Tree tag items are due back today (Sunday). Thank you for your generosity in supporting the Angel tree project.
