For the gospel this week we are brought back to the Last Supper discourse of John’s Gospel in which Jesus prepares the disciples for the time in which he will no longer be in their physical presence. Yet he wants the disciples and for us all to know that He will still dwell with them and us through His word and sacrament. Jesus will continue to share His peace by sending of the Holy Spirit to dwell among us.
