On this third week of Easter, we witness through the Sunday readings how Jesus walks alongside two downcast disciples who did not recognize him. Within the Eucharistic Liturgy, we meet the risen lord in word of God and in the breaking of the bread. This encounter with the Lord is meant to make our own hearts burn with Joy and love of the gospel. We are called to share the love with have with the world.

During this pandemic we have been challenged with our faith, I would challenge everyone to take some time to learn more about their faith during our time away. I will encourage you to use FORMED.org in which we have provided the password to every parishioner. There are two studies on FORMED.org for Easter, that I am challenging everyone to be a part of The first is The Search. What is this journey in between the event we call “birth” and the one we call “death”? Is the journey taking you somewhere, or are you leading yourself to some kind of destination – a destination that could extend beyond your last breath? What do you want from your life during the in between? The questions are there. And, the answers are too.
The second study is called:Divine Mercy with Fr. Michael Gaitley. Renowned speaker and author Fr. Michael Gaitley tells the dramatic history of God's love and mercy as interwoven through the transformative message of St. Faustina, the miraculous appearance of Mary at Fatima, the witness of Maximilian Kolbe, and the world-changing papacy of Pope St. John Paul II. Featuring the brilliant cinematic artistry of the Augustine Institute's film studio, the vast panorama of God's work of mercy in the world unfolds as a story to be experienced. The next offering is: Our parish Password to FORMED.org is 77GVZ3.
We will continue to do our best to provide the faithful of STHY with a video of the Sunday Masses. Soo Please go ahead and subscribe to our St. Hyacinth YouTube channel for videos and live stream updates. All Liturgies will be posted to our parish website Sthyacinth.org as well.
With the Coronavirus affected every aspect of the Church I want to challenge everyone to continue to support the Church during this time. I ask the faithful to continue to support the St Hyacinth community through on-line giving or by mail. This will ensure that our parish will be able to meet payrolls and pay monthly bills. Thank you for your support.
